Luminescent lamp uses the glow of gas enclosed in a closed flask. Until recently, they were used for operation in public premises. These were the so -called daylight lamps. Their main drawback was quite large, limited color rendering and using electromagnetic ballast. But on sale there are still lamps with both types of ballast.
