Warm floors systems significantly increase the effectiveness of conventional heating sources. Often they are selected and installed within the framework of the full, capital replacement of old ones that have lost their operational characteristics of systems. It can hardly be argued that the installation of a warm floor will help reduce heating costs, or will become more democratic in price than a regular system. Prices for warm floors can hardly be called affordable. But, however, much depends on the characteristics of a particular system. It is possible to reduce costs associated with the installation of a warm floor only in one case – if installation is carried out on their own, without the help of specialists.
The most difficult, as practice shows, is the arrangement of water warm floors. However, the result is worth all the efforts spent: the thermal energy in the design of such a system is distributed in the most optimal way. In addition, the costs associated with the operation of the water floor are much lower than in the case of an electric sex. This becomes especially obvious when the system is used as the basis.
Work on the installation of a warm floor is capital. First of all, the dismantling of the old coating, screed is carried out. It is important to note that the design that is in the heating system takes a lot of space. This is due to the need for serious insulation of the foundation of the gender itself. The second stage is the laying of pipes necessary for water circulation. A screed is equipped on top of the pipes. Thus, for the warm floor, one layer is provided with a thickness of 5 to 7 centimeters, plus an additional layer of insulation – its thickness can be from 5 to 15 centimeters. The design of the warm floor is quite impressive. It is for this reason that in typical apartments of a small area, such systems are installed extremely rarely. It should not be forgotten that for its arrangement it is necessary to pass a number of approvals, to get special permits. The choice in favor of water floors can be appropriate in only one case: if heating several rooms of the house or apartment is required at once.
Electric warm floors in design are film and cable. Cable systems are installed in the inside of the floor screed. But this has no effect on the thickness of the main layer. The film floors, on the contrary, can already be installed on top of the screed, but on the pre -laid insulating layer of polyethylene. It is desirable that its surface is foil. High -quality and correctly installed electric warm floors provide a full heating of those rooms that are not connected to the main sources of heating: verandas, balconies, loggias, various open areas, attic.
Before you decide on the choice in favor of a particular system of warm floor, you need to think about the tasks that need to be solved using this design. It is important to focus on a specific method of operation of a warm floor. There are several different options for combining heating in autonomous mode with central heating systems. Another option – the heating of the premises exclusively due to the warm floor installed in the apartment or in the house.
