Thermal pumps and their use.

  • December 14, 2018

Thermal pumps.

Everyone loves to live with comfort. To meet their needs, a person widely uses natural resources, which, unfortunately, are not eternal and, as a result of uncontrolled consumption, can quickly be exhausted. That is why, the cost of the main minerals, most massively used today (coal, wood, oil, gas), is growing every year. In this connection, a person was acutely faced with the question of replacing natural resources with non -traditional energy sources, such as water, soil, air, which, moreover, are environmentally friendly raw materials that do not pollute the environment.

For heating houses today, classic ventilation and heating systems are widely used. However, everyone knows that they are far from harmless to nature and man, moreover, they are not at all cheap. That is why, the world community begins to switch to the use of modern autonomous ventilation and heating systems with heat pumps. For our country, this type of heating systems is new and unfamiliar. But abroad it has been used for about forty years.

Thermal pumps used for heating work in automatic mode and are characterized by a long service life. Reliable in operation, they will work up to 25 years without the need for major repairs.

What is the heat pump, and what is the principle of its action? The heat pump is a device operating in two modes – heating (in the winter) and air conditioning (in the summer). The basic principle of its action is as follows – the heat pump through the heat exchanger takes heat from the water or air circulating in the system and supplies to certain places.

Thermal pumps of the type “Water-water” use underground groundwater as a source of thermal energy. For the operation of this device, two wells are required, one of which is used to supply warm water, and the other to pump it back, after the heat of heat. The main indicator of the effective operation of the pump-the coefficient of useful action-directly depends on the actual temperature of the heat source and the type of the used heat pump and reaches 2.5-5.4.

Today, thermal pumps are very popular among foreign consumers, because their installation is allowed to be used for heating and heating water available for each heat sources.
