It is quite pleasant when the floor surface is smooth, twice are more pleasant, I think – this is the lack of humps or pits on it.
Alignment of the draft floor, the process is not complicated, it is not at all difficult to do with your own hands. All action can be divided into 3 stages:
• preparation of the base;
• Paul filling;
• final care.
Preparation of the base, first and most important action. After all, the success of our entire work depends on this. Any construction work requires preparation, so that everything is like “according to the clock”.
The preparation of the base begins, as a rule, with cleaning. You need to clean the surface of dust and garbage. Next, you need to examine the surface for the presence of irregularities and cracks. If you find any defects in the base – to close them. After our surface has acquired a clean and even look, you can proceed to the following actions.
First you need to install the beacons (take any suitable item for this), indicating the floor level, with their help it will be easier to achieve the desired result.
A solution for screed is prepared by mixing cement of the M400 brand with clean river sand in the proportion of one (cement) to three (sand), which is further poured with water. Water is added in small proportions, while the solution needs to be stirred, until the desired level of the mixture is obtained.
Pour fill
The main preparations have already been made, it remains only to fill our surface with the solution prepared by us. Before pouring, it is necessary to divide our entire surface into a number of areas that will be poured with a mixture, and subsequently to be aligned (for alignment they usually use a trowel) alternately in a certain sequence.
Final care
Let’s call it that. The last strokes after the end of our work. After pouring the floor with a mixture, you need to give it time to dry, often up to three days, after which we remove the beacons previously placed and remove their traces with the same solution. The cement screed finally dries after a month after pouring. During this period, it must be moistened. It is advisable to moisturize the surface two three times a day, which is required to repeat for several days.
Then cover the surface with an ordinary plastic film for a period of two weeks. At the end of this period, remove the film and leave the surface to dry out in the open form. If desired, you can purchase special mixtures with which you can bring the surface to an absolutely perfect state, as well as increase its strength characteristics.
